The Tennessee Titans officially claimed LB Nate Palmer off of waivers from the Packers on Monday.
Palmer wound up seeing more playing time than expected last year after the Packers lost Sam Barrington for the season. However, Green Bay placedย Palmer on waivers a few days ago.
Palmer, 26, is a former sixth-round pick of the Packers back in 2013. He is in the final year of his four-year, $2.21 million rookie contract and stands to make a base salary of $675,000 for the 2016 season.
In 2015, Palmer appeared in all 16 games for the Packers and recorded 68 tackles, one sack, and two pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 108 edge defender out of 110 qualifying players.
