This opens a three-week window of time for the Titans to activate Evans from injured reserve and add him to their 53-man roster.

Evans, 22, was a two-year starter at Appalachian State and earned Sun Belt Conference MVP honors last season. The Titans selected him with the No. 93 pick in this year’s draft.

Evans signed a four-year, $4,561,788 rookie contract with the Titans that includes an $877,665 signing bonus.

In 2020, Evans has appeared in two games for the Titans and rushed for 21 yards on five carries (4.2 YPC) and no touchdowns.
