Titans Place LB Josh Smith On COVID-19 List

The Tennessee Titans announced Monday that they’ve placed LB Josh Smith on the COVID-19 list.

Smith joins DL Jack Crawford on the Titans’ COVID-19 list.

The COVID-19 list was created this summer for a player who either tests positive for or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person or persons.

Players will remain on the list until they are medically cleared to return.

Smith, 23, wound up going undrafted out of Vanderbilt back in April of last year. He later signed a three-year, $1.755 million contract with the Titans.

However, he was waived coming out of the preseason and eventually re-signed to their practice squad late in the season. Tennessee brought Smith back on a futures contract this past January.

During his college career at Vanderbilt, Smith recorded 92 tackles, six sacks, a forced fumble and four passes defended over the course of four seasons and 30 games.
