According to Jim Wyatt, the Titans have promoted LB Josh Carraway from their practice squad and waived FB Jalston Fowler to make room for him.
Carraway, 23, was taken in the seventh-round of this year’s draft by the Titans. He signed a four-year, $2.48 million contract with Tennessee and was set to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract when the Titans cut him loose coming out of the preseason.
Tennesee re-signed him to their practice squad shortly after clearing waivers.
During his college career at TCU, Carraway recorded 132 tackles, 26.5 tackles for a loss, 18 sacks, an interception returned for a touchdown, three forced fumbles, four recoveries and two pass defenses over the course of 37 games.
