Titans Sign QB Blaine Gabbert To Two-Year, $4M Deal

The Tennessee Titans announced Tuesday that they’ve signed QB Blaine Gabbert to a contract.

  • According to Cameron Wolfe, Gabbert receives a two-year contract worth $4 million from the Titans with $1 million guaranteed paid in a signing bonus.
  • Gabbert will make non-guaranteed base salaries of $1.5 million in 2018 and 2019.

Gabbert, 28, is a former first-round pick of the Jaguars back in 2010. After three years in Jacksonville, he was traded to the 49ers in return for a sixth-round pick back in March of 2014.

Gabbert played out the final year of his two-year, $4 million contract before eventually signing a one-year, $855,000 contract with the Cardinals last year.

He’s was testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

In 2017, Gabbert has appeared in five games and thrown for 1,086 yards while completing 55.6 percent of his passes to go along with six touchdowns and six interceptions. He has also rushed for 82 yards.
