The Tennesseeย Titans officially waived LB Gimel President from injured reserve with a settlement on Saturday.
President, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Illinois back in May of last year. He was waived coming out of the preseason but later signed to the Texans’ practice squad.
Houston eventually called President up in November and he finished out the year on the active roster. The Texans waived him following this year’s draft and he was later claimedย off of waivers by the Titans.
Unfortunately, Tennessee waived President a few days ago with an injury designation and he later reverted to their injured reserve list.
In 2017, President appeared in four games and recorded three tackles and no sacks for the Texans.
