The Tennessee Titans announced Thursday that they’ve waived second-year S Damon Webb.
Webb, 23, wound up signing on with the Titans as an undrafted free agent out of Ohio State back in May of last year. He agreed to a three-year, $1.71 million contract, but was cut loose at the start of the regular season.
The Titans re-signed Webb to their practice squad and later brought him back on a futures contract this past January.
During his college career at OSU, Webb recorded 131 tackles, six interceptions, two defensive touchdowns, seven pass defenses, a forced fumble and two recoveries over the course of four seasons and 35 games.
