The Tennessee Titans brought in five free agents for tryouts on Sunday, according to Albert Breer.
The full list of workouts includes:
- RB Orleans Darkwa
- DB Rashaan Gaulden
- RB Jeremy McNichols
- DB Doug Middleton
- DB Adarius Pickett
Darkwa, 28, originally signed on with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of Tulane back in 2014. He spent just a few months in Miami before he was signed off of their practice squad by the Giants.
New York brought Darkwa back on an exclusive rights contract in 2016 and re-signed him to a one-year contract in 2017. Darkwa missed the 2018 season with an Achilles injury and wasn’t signed to a contract last year.
In 2017, Darkwa appeared in 15 games for the Giants and rushed for 751 yards on 171 carries (4.4 YPC to go along with 19 receptions for 116 yards receiving and five total touchdowns.
McNichols, 24, is a former fifth-round pick of the Buccaneers back in 2017. He signed a four-year contract worth $2,663,788 with Tampa Bay but was, unfortunately, cut loose coming out of the preseason.
From there, McNichols had brief stints with the 49ers, Colts, Broncos and Titans before signing on to the Jaguars’ practice squad last year. Jacksonville later promoted him to their active roster to close out the season.
McNichols has been active for four NFL games and rushed for four yards on two carries.
During his college career at Boise State, McNichols rushed for 3,205 yards on 571 carries (5.6 YPC) to go along with 103 receptions for 1,089 yards receiving and 55 total touchdowns over the course of three seasons and 34 games.
