The Kansas City Chiefs announced Friday that they’ve tradedย CB Marcus Cooper to the Cardinals in return forย an undisclosed draft pick.

Cooper,26, is a former seventh-round pick of the 49ers back in 2013. He was unfortunately unable to make the 49ers’ 53-man roster during his rookie season, but was later claimed off of waivers by the Chiefs.
Cooper is in the final year of his ย four-year, $2.205 million contract and stands to make a base salary of $675,000 for the 2016 season.
In 2015, Cooper appeared in nine games for the Chiefs and recorded two tackles and no interceptions.
