Adam Schefter reports that the Falcons and Eagles have completed a trade on Monday that will send S Johnathan Cyprien to Atlanta for LB Duke Riley.
The full trade details are as follows:
Falcons get:
- S Johnathan Cyprien
- 7th-round pick in 2020
Eagles get:
- LB Duke Riley
- 6th-round pick in 2020
Cyprien, 29, is a former second-round pick of the Jaguars back in 2013. He played out his four-year, $5,469,104 contract with the Jaguars before signing a four-year, $25 million contract with the Titans in 2016.
Cyprien was set to make base salaries of $4.5 million and $5.5 million over the next two years of the agreement when the Titans released him during the offseason. He later signed a one-year deal with the Eagles.
In 2019, Cyprien has appeared in four games and recorded one tackle and no sacks.
Riley, 25, is a former third-round pick of the Falcons back in 2017. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $3.51 million contract and stands to make base salaries of $726,500 and $820,000 over the next two years of the agreement.
In 2019, Riley has appeared in four games for the Falcons, but has yet to record a statistic.
