TRADE: Steelers Trading OL Kendrick Green To Texans

Tom Pelissero reports that the Steelers are trading former third-round OL Kendrick Green to the Steelers for a 2025 sixth-round pick.

Green, 24, was a three-year starter at Illinois, a Second-Team All-American, and a First-Team All-Big Ten in 2020. The Steelers drafted Green with pick No. 87 overall in 2021.

Green signed a four-year, $4,875,766 rookie contract that included a $906,011 signing bonus.

During his college career, Green started 29 games at left guard and four games at center for Illinois.

In 2021, Green appeared in and started 15 games for the Steelers at center.
