According to Adam Schefter, Vikings CB Holton Hill has been suspended an additional four games for violating the NFL’s substance-abuse policy.
This is in addition to a four-game suspension for violating the performance-enhancing drugs policy back in April. Hill will now miss the first eight games of the 2019 season.
Hill, 22, wound up signing on with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of Texas back in May of 2018. He’s currently in the second year of his three-year, $1.725 million contract and stands to make a base salary of $570,000 for the 2019 season.
In 2018, Hill appeared in all 16 games for the Vikings and recorded 35 tackles, one interception and seven pass defenses.
