Vikings Ready To Ramp Up His RB Adrian Peterson’s Workload

Minnesota Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier mentioned that he’s seen significant progress in the last week from running back Adrian Peterson

“He felt so much better this week in comparison to after the first game of the season on a Tuesday,” Frazier said, via Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee. “So we feel like he’s really making progress from a physical standpoint.”

Frazier pointed out that this could result in more carries for Peterson on Sunday against the 49ers stout run defense, which will most likely be Peterson’s stiffest test. San Francisco finished first against the run last season and didn’t allow a single rushing touchdown until Week 16, when they were without star inside linebacker Patrick Willis.
