Vikings To Sign OL Tom Compton

Alex Marvez of the Sporting News reports that the Vikings are set to sign OL Tom Compton to a contract, as long as he passes a physical.

Compton, 28, is a former sixth-round pick of the Redskins back in 2012. Compton spent four years in Washington before signed a one-year contract with the Falcons back in March 2016.

The Bears signed Compton to another one-year contract last year and he was once again testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

In 2017, Compton appeared in 11 games for the Bears and is rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 47 guard out of 77 qualifying players.
