Vikings Sign S Andrew Sendejo To A Two-Year Extension

Ian Rapoport reports that the Minnesota Vikings have signed S Andrew Sendejo to a two-year contract extension.

Sendejo, 26, is under team control through the 2015 season and stands to make $2 million over that span. Sendejo receives $400,000 in guarantees and can make another $600,000 through incentives.

Sendejo is much more of a special teams player, which is evident by the figures included in this contract. Special teams players still have value to NFL teams, even if they aren’t counted on regularly to play offense or defense.
