The Minnesota Vikings have placed OT Arturo Uzdavinis on waivers Wednesday and signed CB Sam Brown to a contract, according to Matt Vensel.
Uzdavinis, 24, originally signed on with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Tulane back in May of last year. He was waived during the first round of roster cuts and later signed to the Bears’ practice squad a few months into the regular season.
After one week in Chicago, Uzdavinis joined the Jaguars’ practice squad and returned to the team on a future/reserve contract this past January. However, Jackson elected to waive Uzdavinis shortly after this year’s draft.
The Lions signed him to a contract a few weeks later but he was once again cut loose a month later. Uzdavinis just signed a contract with the Vikings a few days ago.
Uzdavinis has yet to appear in an NFL game.
