Vikings Place WR Lestar Jean On Injured Reserve After Clearing Waivers

The Vikings announced Friday that they have placed WR Lestar Jean on season-ending injured reserve after he cleared waivers.

The Vikings waive/injured WR Lestar Jean on Thursday, according to the NFL transactions release.

Minnesota signed Jean to a one-year contract back in early April, but he lasted just a few weeks with the team before being cut loose.

Jean, 26, signed with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Florida Atlantic back in 2011. Last year, he appeared in 11 games and caught four receptions for 35 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
