Carter, 25, signed on with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of Penn State back in 2016. He was among the team’s final roster cuts coming out of the preseason and has bounced on and off their practice squad since then.

In 2017, Carter appeared in three games for the Vikings but has not recorded a single statistic.
