The Washington Football Team announced Thursday that they’ve signed WR Robert Foster off the Packers’ practice squad and waived TE Marcus Baugh.
Washington also promoted TE Temarrick Hemingway to their active roster.
Matt Zenitz first reported that Washington was signing Foster.
Foster, 25, signed on with the Bills as an undrafted free agent out of Alabama back in 2018. He agreed to a three-year, $1.51 million contract with the Bills, but was waived and later re-signed to their practice squad.
Buffalo promoted Foster to their active roster soon after and he managed to make the 53-man unit last season. He re-signed as an exclusive rights free agent this offseason but was released coming out of the preseason.
The Packers signed him to their practice squad last month.
In 2019, Foster appeared in 13 games for the Bills and caught three passes for 64 yards receiving and no touchdowns. He also rushed for 29 yards on two carries.
