Damond Talbot of NFL Draft Diamonds reports that Washington is bringing in former Louisiana Tech quarterback J’Mar Smith in for a workout on Monday.
Smith, 23, was a three-year starter for LA Tech and was an honorable mention for All-CUSA in 2018. He wound up going undrafted out Louisiana Tech back in April before signing on with the Patriots.
New England opted to waive Smith before the start of training camp.
During his four-year college career, Smith recorded 759 completions for 1,280 pass attempts (59.3 YPC) for 9,523 yards, 51 touchdowns, and 21 interceptions, to go along with 326 run attempts for 856 yards (2.6 YPC) and 15 touchdowns.
