Mason, 25, originally signed on with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Texas A&M-Commerce back in January of last year. He was, unfortunately, among their early roster cuts coming out of the preseason, but signed to the Bears’ practice squad just a few days later.
Chicago elected to bring him back on a future/reserve contract several months ago.
Mason has yet to appear in an NFL game.
Grace went undrafted out of Notre Dame a few weeks ago, so this will be his first opportunity with an NFL team.
During this college career at Notre Dame, Grace recorded 79 tackles, 2.5 tackles for a loss, and a pass defense over the course of 29 games.
