Adam Caplan of the Sideline View reports that the Browns have Oregon head coach Chip Kelly as their “clear No. 1 choice.”
Caplan adds that Browns owner Jimmy Haslam is “extremely aggressive” when it comes to something that he wants. Two GM candidates that Caplan spoke with mentioned that they believe the Browns are either ” #1 or #2 for best roster of all projected openings.”
Kelly is reportedly seeking larger say over over personnel decisions, so it seems as though the Browns could be willing to offer this kind of control to Kelly. Cleveland will have to wait until after Oregon’s bowl game before they can meet with him.

I think the system will work, but the Browns need more offensive help for this offense to work
It will be interesting to see if Chip Kelly does get the job as head coach of the Cleveland Browns. I wonder if his system will work in the NFL?
I totally agree. Thinking the same thing. It could be spectacular or hugely disappointing, but he’ll at least make things interesting for a few years.
