FOX Sports’ Alex Marvez reports the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are ready to make a “strong push” to sign Falcons ILB Curtis Lofton.
Tampa has previous said that they plan to be active in the coming days and they could really use a solid middle linebacker in the middle of their defense. Lofton is a very solid two-down player but is poor in pass coverage. The Buc’s will still use Mason Foster in more of a limited role but this could end up being a pretty solid move for them.
