Buccaneers Sign Fifth-Round Pick OT Kevin Pamphile

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced the signing of fifth-round pick OT Kevin Pamphile to a four-year contract on Monday.

Pamphile becomes the third Buccaneers to sign his rookie deal, which means the Bucs have three remaining players to address.

Pamphile is an interesting player given that he made the transition from defensive lineman to offensive tackle while at Purdue, so he limited experience as a left tackle.

However, he managed to post some impressive numbers during his Pro Day, which included a forty time of 4.92 and 32-inch vertical. This is coming from a 300-pound man!

It seems likely that Pamphile will need to compete with Emmett Cleary and Oniel Cousins for snaps during training camp, and ultimately a backup role on their roster.
