The Detroit Lions have re-signed DE Darryl Tapp to a one-year contract worth $870,000, per Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press. ESPN’s Adam Caplan reports that the Lions are signing former Eagles and Colts DE/OLB Phillip Hunt to a contract on Thursday. Hunt, 29, originally signed with the Browns as an undrafted free agent out of Houston back in 2009. He wound up playing two seasons for the Eagles before they waived/injured him last August.
