Chargers Sign 7 Players To Practice Squad

The Los Angeles Chargers announced Sunday that they’ve signed seven players to their practice squad including:

1. DE Patrick Afriyie
2. WR Dylan Cantrell
3. S A.J. Hendy
4. LB D’Juan Hines
5. WR Andre Patton
6. DL Steven Richardson
7. T Trent Scott

Hendy, 25, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of Maryland back in 2016. He was waived coming out of the preseason and later signed to the Dolphins’ practice squad before eventually being called up in late December.

Unfortunately for Hendy, he was once again cut loose coming out of the preseason. He later signed on with the Chargers’ practice squad, making this his second stint with the team.

In 2016, Hendy appeared in one game for the Dolphins but did not record a statistic
