Futures deals are essentially camp invites that will give players the opportunity to compete for roster spots during offseason workouts and training camp.

McGill, 25, originally signed on with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of North Carolins State back in 2015. He lasted just a few months in Seattle before he was claimed off of waivers by the Colts.

Indianapolis elected to move on from McGill coming out of the preseason and he was once again claimed off of waivers, this time by the Browns. McGill was on and off of the Browns’ practice squad last year.

In 2017, McGill has appeared in three games and recorded one tackle.
