Colts Sign CB Sheldon Price, Waive OT Andrew McDonald

The Indianapolis Colts announced that they have signed CB Sheldon Price to their active roster from the practice squad on Monday and placed OT Andrew McDonald on waivers.

Price, 23, signed on with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of UCLA back in April of last year. He was unable to make the team’s final 53-man roster coming out of the preseason, but was he later signed on to the team’s practice squad.

During his time at UCLA, Price appeared in 47 career games and recorded 157 tackles (123 solo), 21 passes defensed, five interceptions and two forced fumbles.

McDonald, 26, signed on with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of Indiana back in 2012. He later signed on to the Panthers’ practice squad October of last year and Carolina later signed him to a future/reserve contract.

Before joining the Colts a few weeks ago, McDonald briefly played for the Seahawks.

He has yet to appear in an NFL game.
