Patriots, Saints & Seahawks Teams To Watch For Ndamukong Suh, Cowboys “Not At This Time”

Dianna Russini reports that the Cowboys and the Seahawks are interested in free agent DT Ndamukong Suh.

  • However, Josina Anderson reports that the Cowboys do not currently have interest in Suh.
  • Jane Slater also reports that the Cowboys are “not interested at this time” in Suh.
  • According to Nick Underhill, the Saints are expected to have interest in Suh, but he says that there are a lot of moving parts right now including money.
  • Ian Rapoport mentions the Saints, Seahawks and Patriots as teams that should be in the mix for Suh.

It’s worth mentioning that signing him to a contract won’t impact a team’s 2019 compensatory picks, given that he was released this offseason.

Suh, 31, is a former first-round pick of the Lions back in 2010. He spent five years in Detroit before signing a six-year, $114 million contract that included $60 million guaranteed with the Dolphins a few years ago.

Suh was set to make base salaries of $16.985 million (2018), $18.985 million (2019), and $18.36 million (2020) over the remainder of the contract when the Dolphins designated him as a post-June 1 release.

In 2017, Suh appeared in all 16 games for the Dolphins and recorded 48 tackles, 4.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and two pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 5 interior defender out of 122 qualifying players.

We have him featured in our Top 100 – 2018 NFL Free Agents list.
