Cowboys Signing LB Joe Thomas To Two-Year, $4.6M Deal,

Todd Archer reports that the Cowboys are signing LB  Joe Thomas to a two-year contract.

  • Jon Machota reports that Thomas’ two-year deal is worth up to $4.6 million.

Dallas brought in Thomas for a visit earlier in the day and it looks like everything went well.

Thomas, 26, wound up signing on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of South Carolina State back in May of 2014. He dealt with an injury during his rookie and briefly played for the Cowboys in 2015 before he returning to the Packers a few weeks into the season.

The Packers brought Thomas back on a one-year exclusive rights contract last year but declined to tender him a restricted offer this offseason, making him an unrestricted free agent.

In 2017, Thomas appeared in 12 games for the Packers and recorded 14 tackles, a half sack and a pass defense.
