DT Kevin Williams Believes Vikings Tenure Is Over

Free Agent DT Kevin Williams believes his time in Minnesota is coming to an end.

When asked in the wake of recent Vikings acquisitions if he felt he was done in Minnesota, Williams simply told the St. Paul Pioneer Press Yeah,” adding “That simply speaks for itself“.

Williams, 34, has spent eleven seasons with the Minnesota Vikings, and was considered one of the best interior lineman in the league for a large potion of his career.  It is very possible that Williams could end up in the Vikings Ring of Honor, commemorating the franchise’s best players.

In 2013, he totaled 28 tackles, 3.5 sacks, an interception and a fumble recovery.  Pro Football Focus rated Williams as the No. 27 interior defensive linemen in the league.

We have Williams at No. 19 in our updated Top 50 Available Free Agents.
