Eagles Waive DT Bruce Hector

The Philadelphia Eagles announced Tuesday that they’ve waived DT Bruce Hector to make room for WR Golden Tate, who was acquired in a trade with the Lions.

Hector, 23, wound up signing on with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of South Florida following this year’s NFL draft. He agreed to a three-year, $1.71 million contract and managed to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason.

Hector has been on and off of the Eagles’ roster this season.

In 2018, Hector has been active for six games and recorded six tackles and a half sack.
