Eagles Worked Out 4 Players Including DE Gerald Rivers & TE Richard Gordon

The Philadelphia Eagles worked out four players on Monday including TE Richard Gordon, TE Cameron Clear, C Brian Folkerts, and DE Gerald Rivers.

Rivers, 25, originally signed on with the Rams as an undrafted free agent out of Mississippi back in 2013. Since then, Rivers has played for a number of teams including the Jaguars, Dolphins, Broncos and most recently for the Giants.

The Saints brought him in for a workout a few weeks ago, but he left New Orleans without a contract.

Rivers hasn’t appeared in an NFL game since the 2013 season when he was playing for the Jaguars.

Gordon, 28, was taken in the sixth round of the 2011 NFL Draft by the Raiders. He spent two years with Oakland before he was waived and later caught on with the Steelers.

The Chiefs re-signed him as an unrestricted free agent in March before later releasing him from injured reserve with a settlement.

In 2014, Gordon appeared in five games for the Chiefs, but didn’t record a single statistic.
