Falcons Sign TE Logan Paulsen To One-Year, $1.005M Deal

The Atlanta Falcons announced that they have agreed to terms on a one-year contract with TE Logan Paulsen on Wednesday.

  • According to Vaughn McClure, Paulsen’s one-year deal is worth $1.005 million and includes $200,000 guaranteed.

It was reported earlier today that the Falcons were hosting Paulsen for a visit, so it appears that they moved quickly to get a deal done. (NFLTR)

He also visited with the Lions but left Detroit without a contract.

Paulsen, 31, originally signed on with the Redskins as an undrafted free agent out of UCLA back in 2012. Washington re-signed him to a three-year deal in 2013. Unfortunately for Paulsen, he was placed on season-ending injured reserve at the start of the 2015 season and subsequently missed the entire year with a toe injury.

After one season with the Bears, Paulsen joined the 49ers in March of last year but was, unfortunately, cut loose coming out of the preseason. He later returned to the team and was on and off of the 49ers’ active roster throughout the year.

In 2017, Paulsen has appeared in 14 games for the 49ers but did not catch a pass.
