Ebenezer Samuel, from New York Daily News, reports that rookie RB David Wilson has been impressing several at Giants training camp by showcasing flashy moves and breakaway speed, which has what he was known for at Virgina Tech.
Ahmad Bradshaw has advised the rookie to save his strength.
“He kind of does his own thing, juking and doing a lot of things, putting a lot of torque on his ankles and knees and different things,” said Bradshaw. “We’re trying to teach him how to be a professional and just hold back on some of those things.”
Bradshaw seems determined to mentor the first-round pick on the ways of the NFL by making the rookie aware of the wear and tear that the game has on your body. Bradshaw and Wilson could make for a very explosive backfield this season.
