Jaguars LT Kelvin Beachum Taken To Hospital After Sustaining Concussion

Jaguars LT Kelvin Beachum was carted off the field during Sunday’s game against the Chargers with a concussion.

The Jaguars announced that Beachum is being transported to the hospital for further evaluation.

It was a very scary situation as Beachum was strapped down to a board and carted off the field.

Beachum, 27, is a former seventh-round pick of the Steelers back in 2012. He wound up signing a one-year, $4.5 million contract that includes a four-year, $35 million team option in 2017 this past March.

Last year, Beachum was limited to appearing in just six games for the Steelers before he was placed on season-ending injured reserve after he suffered a torn ACL.

We’ll have more regarding Beachum’s status as the news is available.
