Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette Out For Week 6

According to Ian Rapoport, Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette will miss Week 6’s game against the Cowboys after he suffered a setback last week.

The expectation was that Fournette was going to miss “at least” two games, so this doesn’t come as a big surprise.

However, the Jaguars are placing RB Corey Grant on injured reserve (NFLTR), which means it’s possible they sign a running back to bolster their depth at the position in the coming days.

Fournette, 23, is a former first-round pick of the Jaguars back in 2017. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $27.15 million contract that’s fully guaranteed and stands to make a base salary of $1.69 million for the 2018 season.

In 2018, Fournette has appeared in one game and rushed for 41 yards on 9 carries (4.6 YPC) to go along with three receptions for 14 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
