Jets Sign WR J.J. Jones & C Jon Toth To Practice Squad

The New York Jets announced Monday that they’ve signed WR J.J. Jones and C Jon Toth to their practice squad.

Jones, 25, wound up signing on with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of West Georgia back in May. He agreed to a three-year, $1.71 million contract with the Chargers and managed to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason.

However, the Chargers elected to waive Jones a few weeks ago.

In 2018, Jones has been active for three games, totaling 83 kick and punt return yards and no receptions.
