Lions “Unsure” QB Matthew Stafford Will Play Week 4

According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sportsthe Lions are “unsure” if QB Matthew Stafford will be available for next week’s game against the Minnesota Vikings.

Stafford suffered a pulled leg muscle in Sunday’s loss to the Titans, but according to La Canfora’s source, the Lions are going to keep their “options open” in regards to their quarterback situation.

Shaun Hill has proven to be a viable back-up for the Lions in recent years.  Add in the fact that Detroit will have their bye in Week 5, and it might make sense for them to give Stafford some extra time to heal, considering how valuable he is to their team.
