Cardinals HC Bruce Arians said on the NFL Network that they knew RB LeSean McCoy was available for trade, but declined to make an offer.
“No, it wasn’t a good fit for us,” Arians said, via Pro Football Talk.
Arians still thinks this is a great move for the Bills.
“Great move for Buffalo,” Arians said. “Not that Alonso is not a great player — I think he’s going to be, coming off surgery — but when you have LeSean’s resume, that kind of speaks for itself.”
- Adam Caplan reports that the Eagles signed LB Brad Jones to a two-year deal worth $2.85 million and included $500,000 guaranteed.
The Ravens announced that veteran OLB Jarrett Johnson will retire as a Raven.
“It would be an honor to retire a Raven,” Johnson said. “Even when we weren’t there, we were always pulling for them, always wanting the best for them, always wanting to see them succeed. It was always home.”
