According to Ian Rapoport, the Giants, Cardinals, Patriots and Ravens are all potential landing spots for Missouri DE Michael Sam.
Sam, of course, is the first openly gay player to enter the NFL, but even though he was SEC Co-Defensive Player of the Year in 2013, he may not come off the board until the fifth or sixth round.
There are concerns regarding his ability to make the transition to the NFL as a pass-rusher. Sam’s combine performance wasn’t all that great either, so it will be interesting to see how long he lasts on Saturday.
Last season, he totaled 49 tackles, 11.5 sacks and two forced fumbles for the Mizzou defense.
