Patriots Waive LB Kevin Snyder From I.R. With Settlement

The New England Patriots officially waived LB Kevin Snyder from injured reserve on Thursday with an injury settlement.

Synder, 24, originally signed on with the Lions as an undrafted free agent out of Rutgers back in May of last year. He was cut loose during the preseason with an injury designation and later given an injury settlement in October.

Synder played briefly for the 49ers before signing on to the Patriots’ practice squad back in January. New England waived him with an injury designation last week and he later reverted to their injured reserve list.
