Percy Harvin A “Long Shot” To Play In Week 10?

Judd Zulgad of 1500 ESPN Twin Cities reports that Vikings WR Percy Harvin sprained his ankle in three places and is currently on crutches.

We’ve got a lot of work to do,” said Harvin, via the St. Paul Pioneer Press. “It’s a long shot but I’m not ruling myself out.”

There’s no question that Harvin will be sorely missed. He is clearly one of the best weapons in the entire NFL, and with Christian Ponder struggling mightily to move the ball through the air, Minnesota will have their work cut out for them against Detroit’s defense. The Vikings will be on bye in Week 11, so at least he’ll have some extra time to recover.
