Quintin Mikell Done In Philadelphia?

A few months ago Philadelphia Eagles S Quintin Mikell made some comments regarding his future with the team and at the time it didnโ€™t seem as though he was to optimistic about the idea but from his recent comments, that may have changed.

โ€œItโ€™s been crazy [this offseason] but Iโ€™m not even concerned about it anymore,โ€ Mikell said, per Josh Goldman of the Philadelphia Daily News. โ€œWeโ€™re so deep in the lockout I donโ€™t even care. Iโ€™m just worried about staying in shape and making sure Iโ€™m ready to go. Obviously, I would like to be back here with the Eagles, but at this point Iโ€™m not sure what their thinking is. I am fairly sure that thereโ€™s going to be a lot of people interested in me if I hit the market so either way Iโ€™ll be fine.โ€

There are a number of teams that will be looking for help at the safety position and Mikellโ€™s experience and ability should leave him as on of the best available options. The market for safeties would most likely include: Baltimore Ravens, Carolina Panthers, Dallas Cowboys, Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, Minnesota Vikings and St. Louis Rams.
