Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Raiders have placed CBย Senquez Golson on waivers Wednesday.
Golson, 24, was taken in the second round by the Steelers in the 2015 NFL Draft. He was in the second year of his four-year, $4.001 million rookie contract when the Steelers cut him loose in October of 2016.
Golson signed on to the Buccaneers’ practice squad last year, but he lasted just a few weeks in Tampa Bay before he was cut loose. The Raiders signed him to a contract this past April.
Golson has yet to appear in an NFL game.
During his four-year college career at Ole Miss, Golson recorded 130 total tackles, six tackles for loss, 0.5 sack, 16 interceptions, 11 pass defenses, and scored one defensive touchdown.
