Rams Sign CB’s Janoris Jenkins & Trumaine Johnson

Jim Thomas of the St Louis Dispatch reports that the Rams have reached an agreement with second-round draft pick CB Janoris Jenkins. Thomas adds that Jenkins’ contract is a four-year deal that’s worth about $5 million and includes $3.1 million in guarantees.

St Louis was reportedly seeking some protection in Jenkins contract, which was most likely the reason that it took so long for the deal to ultimately get done. If Jenkins lives up to his potential, the Rams would certain have a much improved secondary after they also signed Cortland Finnegan during free agency.

The Rams also signed third-round pick Trumaine Johnson to a deal as well.
