ESPN’s Jamison Hensley writes that the Baltimore Ravens should strongly consider signing free agent WR Reggie Wayne in the coming weeks.
Hensley mentions that Wayne, 34, will draw less interest from prospective NFL teams, which could equate to him being a bargain for a team like Baltimore. On top of that, joining the Ravens would give him another shot at possibly winning a Super Bowl title.
Baltimore is in need of an additional receiver but reports from yesterday suggested that they would like to add another deep threat to go with Torrey Smith. Anquan Boldin is more of a possession receiver but some feel that he’s regressing pretty quickly. Thankfully, the Ravens can lean more on their young tight ends in the intermediate passing game.
