The Detroit Lions have announced the signing of veteran QB Dan Orlovsky on Wednesday.
Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun reports that the Detroit Lions are “expected” to sign QB Dan Orlovsky, per a league source.
Orlovsky, 30, spent four seasons with the Lions before moving on to stints in Houston, Indianapolis and Tampa Bay for the last two seasons.
The University of Connecticut product has started twelve games in his career, registering 14 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
Orlovsky could battle QB Kellen Moore for the No. 2 position behind Matthew Stafford.
