Report: Redskins Agree To Terms With CB E.J. Biggers

Pro Football Talk is reporting that the Washington Redskins have reached an agreement with former Buccaneers CB E.J. Biggers.

Washington has been linked to a number of defensive backs in the last week or so, but limited cap space has taken them out of the running for some of their top targets.

Biggers, 25, is a young, cost efficient player who graded out as an above average cornerback for the Bucs last season, according to Pro Football Focus. Former Buccaneers head coach Raheem Morris is now the Redskins’ secondary coach, so there’s a good chance he helped lure Biggers to Washington.

Tampa Bay was reportedly interested in re-signing him, but they’ve also been linked to a number of cornerbacks and have plenty of cap space to sign one of the best available options or trade for Darrelle Revis.

We had Biggers listed as the No. 31 player in our recently updated Top 50 Free Agents list.
