VCU’s Mo Alie-Cox To Visit Chiefs, Buccaneers, Jets, Colts, Seahawks & Chargers

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that VCU basketball player Mo Alie-Cox is scheduled to visit with the Chiefs, Buccaneers, Jets, Colts, Seahawks and Chargers. According to Rapoport, it’s still possible more teams could bring him in over the next few weeks.

On Tuesday, several teams were in attendance for his Pro Day including Bears, Lions, Dolphins, Vikings, 49ers, Browns, Patriots, Redskins, Chiefs and Steelers per, Lane Casadonte.

The Giants also sent a scout to see Allie Cox’s workout, according to James Kratch.

Mike Garafolo reports that Alie-Cox measured 6-45 at 262 pounds to go along with 86 2/8 wing span, 11 1/8 hands, and 35 7/8 arms. He ran a 4.75 40-yard dash to go along with a 35.5 vertical, 10.2 broad jump, 4.45 shuttle and a 7.25 3-cone time.

Alie-Cox is making the transition to football as a tight end, but is not draft eligible this year, which means he’s free to sign on with a team of his choosing.

During his four-year career at VCU, Alie-Cox totaled 1,092 points, 633 rebounds, 112 assists, 88 steals and 255 blocks over the course of 142 games.

We’ll have more regarding where Alie-Cox could end up as the news is available.
